I have an eXplorer V boat that I have had for many years and it has served me well. The seat foam finally gave up and a replacement was readily available. The boat is comfortable and easily inflated and deflated.

I know of 2 manufactures:

Richard Blair in the Western Cape with his KirMit Kickboats: KirMit

Pem Reyneke in KZN with Pisces Predator Kickboats: Pisces

Both of these are similar in that you are elevated out of the water with only you legs and feet getting wet.
You can also add an electrical trolling motor
Very flexible in terms of accessories like rod racks and fish finders.

There was also a guy from the East Rand, BassProX boats. I'm not sure if he is still building them though.
